Message from the School Supervisor

Dr. Joyce Tsang is Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Beauty Salon Holdings Limited, and founder and School Supervisor of Beauty Expert International Academy. She also founded the Hong Kong Beauty and Wellness Association (HKBWA) and is Honorary President (2011–2013) of the International CICA Association of Esthetics — CIDESCO Section China. A member of the PRC Political Consultative Committee of Hunan Province, she has worked in the beauty industry for nearly 30 years. Dr. Tsang began in 1986 with a single 100-square-foot salon. Under her management the group grew into a leading beauty salon group with more than ten brands and 180 service centres, and has since expanded into Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China and Taiwan. She founded the Hong Kong Beauty and Wellness Association to bring the wider industry together — health and slimming centres, skincare manufacturers, beauty consultants and related businesses — and to put their views to government for the benefit of the cosmetology industry. Her awards include APEA “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” (2011), “Award of Listed Company Leader” (2012), “Prime Awards for Outstanding Leaders” from Metro Box magazine, and “The 4th Excellence in Achievement” from the World Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization.
